It is the end of the road after some suspected robbers and cultists were caught with guns during stop and search.

Police operatives have arrested a group of cultists who have been terrorizing residents of Jesse community in Sapele, Delta state.

The suspects were arrested with two local cut-to-size guns during a stop and search operation n the area.

About 34 pieces of bullets and battle axe were also found on the two suspects. During interrogation, the two suspects revealed that they were transporting the weapons to their main boss.

When police operatives stormed the house where the suspects were staying, another gun and other items were also recovered. .

The two suspects also confessed to police all their friends who have used the guns before. About 10 of them were arrested.

They are currently cooling their heels in police custody and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded
